Exhibition Posters

This exhibition poster uses the rule of thirds in the centre of the image as the cat is in the centre and this draws your eye to it, there are light and dark contrasts and there are also typefaces such as sans serif whivh is used in 'painting now' you can tell its sans serif by the way the writing is bold, curved and casual.
This image is showing a beach scenario, the image is mainly black and white however there are hints of colour which attract the viewer. I wouldn't call this a urban environment but I think the image is slightly juxtaposed because the person walking across appears to be dressed smartly which makes the image seem more important. The text used for this poster is Sans Serif you can see this because the writing is curved/ rounded and bold, this makes it seem casual.
This poster has the rule of thirds incorporated within because the main focus point would be on the first diagonal line and in the middle of the horizontal lines. Not only is it rule of thirds but there is also a main focus point where the rest of the poster is grey/black but one part is blue and instantly draws the eye.
This exhibition poster shows the urban environment, it's monochrome which makes the poster have a saddened feeling especially because there is a person sat on their own on the street corner. The poster displays line in places such as the three steps, the tiles and the railings. The poster also displays the rule of thirds; the person is in the middle of the two metaphorical horizontal lines but also on the third diagonal line.

In this exhabition poster there is a typfaces of sans serif, you can see this because its all in capitals and in bold creating a dramayic feel. The image is also taken in the urban environment, displaying huge sky scrapers behind the woman. there is definate tone varitions and also line is shown throughout beacuse of the windows on the building, the squares on the womans unberella and finally line where the bildings rise creating a sense of depth in the picture.
